Therese grew up in Charlotte, NC and graduated from UNC Charlotte after dropping out of high school at sixteen. She is married with six children - that's right six! (Four she married into). Therese is a writer and teacher. Her poetry and essays have been published in Emrys Journal, Iodine, Main Street Rag, and The Charlotte Observer. She promotes various arts and charities in the Charlotte community including the Tosco Music Party. With the help of fellow local artists, she founded Christmas OutReach, a program dedicated to community service during the holiday season. Currently, Therese is finishing her masters in criminal justice at UNC Charlotte and directing her first documentary film project The Final Gift (working title).
